Power Turbo Torch Lighter

Well I picked up 5 of these lighters off of DealExtreme for super cheap 2 weeks ago and they just arrived. Cheap chinese lighter says Power and Turbo on them. Gassed one up and played around with it. Seems like a great little lighter. The bottom picture shows the flame at its lowest setting. The flame on these gets LONG if u set it that way. Works great and cheap!

These seem like great gift lighter and great bomb or NST fodder. :D

They hold a lot of fuel, more than the PB-207 by a good bit

Yes

I have a bunch of these and they are great cheap lighters. Be careful not to push the cap on too hard or it will break, but other than that they work beautifully.

Just wait till he gets to the soft flames, they get awfully pricey.

I don't think I'd carry it in my pocket. If I wasnted to pocket carry a lighter I'd grab one of my Ronsons i think

I put all lighters in my pocket, I tend to wander around a lot while I smoke and I am bad about having to relight.

I gave one of these to my stepdad, sworn blazer user, and he cussed about how he had overpaid for his blazer because he thinks it works so well (he has had the Blazer for over 15yrs so I think he got his money's worth :D)

I couldn't help it. It always seems that the products out of China like to use words like Power, Extreme or Turbo. I actually am going to try and scoop a bunch of these but figured I would have a little fun with it.:D

I hear ya, I'm tempted to buy like 5-10 different kinds and see how they all work. Find out which are keepers and which are just crap.

Re: Power Turbo Torch Lighter

I have bought about 20 of those over the past 4 years. I have given away about half of them.

They are great lighters when they work.

My current one I am using is about a year old. I only need to fill it up about once every 8 weeks. Thats using it to light and relight 20 to 25 cigars a week. I never fill it over 3/4 full. I carry it in my pocket all the time. Never fails to light. Everyone I have given one to, loves it.

1 out of 5 has some problem, the valve doesn't shut off, the activator switch breaks or comes loose, the top won't stay on. But for $ 3 each, you can afford to buy 5 and throw one away!:tu

Re: Power Turbo Torch Lighter

I've been using one of these jet lighters for over a month, and it's probably my favorite. I love the huge plastic reservoir...no empty-fuel surprises. Only small issue is the size. Too big for my pocket, but not a problem with a traveldor.

However, be careful buying lighters off deal extreme. I bought a classy yibao (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/tri-s-s...-gift-box-8052) and it had a defective valve. When sparked, the flame would grow higher and higher. Last I tried, it only took a few seconds to grow over two feet. I'm tempted to post a pic...but I don't want the valve to completely fail when I'm holding it. :D

Just got in these two couple of weeks ago. Holds a chitload of fuel and seems pretty economical on gas usage. I like both of them. Not bad pricing. I'll get more for sure. Took two weeks for free delivery.

great find! I'm tired of the expensive lighters not doing what I expect. I have a Bugatti and a Xikar and man, they need to be re-filled like once a week. I'll never get another without a see through window.
