Top Maduro

Looking for a few good Maduro recommendations. Looking for something with a good sweet aged tobacco taste. Box suggestions?

This is a very old school suggestion. The maduros used in the El Rey Del Mundo (Honduran) have always been top notch. You can find them in various places but the primary source is JR. Lew Rothman, founder of JR, used to say the vitolas that are tissue wrapped are the best ones.

Bob is absolutely correct. I have been smoking that particular blend since sometime in 1981, and amazingly they still taste very much like they used to takes. I can have one and the smell and taste will transport me back in time.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

And while at JR's check out the JR Ultimate line too. Their maduros are my first choice.

If you are looking for something on the stronger side, I'm an enormous fan of the current production 601 blues, decadent spice For days. Also, the casa Fernandez Aganorsa Leaf Maduros are very rich and spicy.

As for the aged aspect, might just hope to luck out on some older boxes!

I like the Hendrix. Probably the best cigar I’ve gotten from CF.

Padrón Padrón maduros as others have said.
Wise Man Maduro has been a favorite of mine recently.
La Galera Maduros are great budget friendly sticks.

Re: Top Maduro

I'm jumping on the Padron bandwagon. Always consistent.
LFD Coronado are always good
Liga Privada Feral Hog and No. 9. any Unico Series (can be pricey but I enjoy the aroma and flavor immensely)
Herrara Estili Norteno (I've had a few that actually have a vanilla finish toward the 2nd half of the cigar. Quite Enjoyable.)
I haven't had Rocky Patel for years, but I remember the Vintage lines having a sweet and rich flavor.

I would pick Padron first but no one mentioned Tatuaje if you are looking for something full bodied.
