Need your help for Christmas mailings!

I recently got a request from a Chaplain for helo squadrons based out of Norfolk. Last year I/we sent out a dozen boxes to his troopers stationed all over the world. He'd very much appreciate our doing this again. I frankly need YOUR monetary help to do this. The twelve boxes I send out a month is pretty much all I can afford- and that only with the help of a few stalwarts here.

So, if you can help with a monetary donation- need $$ at this time for shipping and non-cigar goodies-- please be so kind as to pp the funds to me at my pp addy of hotreds1atyahoodotcom. A box costs 12.95 to ship- I have a dozen for this month and likely double that for December.

Thank-you for your consideration to help this worthy cause and bring a little bit of home to the troops this Christmas.

I will ship the Christmas boxes late Nov, 1st week Dec. I am shipping Nov boxes Sat and the first few days of next week. One of my/our guys got a box in just a tad over a week-- but I figure on 2 weeks transit time.

Don't have Pay Pal? You know, I bet the old fashioned way of taking a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper and folding it around a $5, $10, or $20 bill, sticking it in an envelope and mailing it to Hugh would also work well. Think of the smile you would put on someone's face by getting them a few comforts from home on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not to mention the smile you will get from knowing you helped. It is never to early to spread some Holiday Cheer. Ask him for his addy, he'll send it to you. ;)

:tpd: Many people also have "Bill Pay" with their checking accounts. You can send a one time check or set up recurring payments and send say $5 a month. Best thing is you dont have to think about it once its set up and the postage is free. :tu
