Picked up a couple more 1911's. One has a rail and the other does not. For whatever reason the program won't allow me to rotate the photos.

Mostly because it was a private sale, no tax, etc. and the price was right, I picked up a Smith and Wesson SD40VE lately. If you're not familiar, think of it as an economy grade M&P. The trigger on the SD, as issued, is like driving a car without power steering. I may or may not do a little parts changing and polishing. Meanwhile, it's increasing the strength of my trigger finger on both hands. Weak-hand only drills are..challenging.

It will get smoother with use, but not lighter, nature of the beast. However, these guns are typically very reliable, and accurate enough for defense work or casual use. Since it fits holsters made for the M&P, it might even get carried on lousy weather days.

for sure not the prettiest but functional and affordable. Can't go wrong when the price is right. :tu

No sir, it is a CheyTac m200 chambered in .408cheytac.

Effective sub-MOA range is just shy of 2 miles. But I've only had the opportunity to shoot it 1 mile.

Ah! It looked really familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. Nice firearm and a nice cartridge as well. :)

That is an anti-material beast!

I've yet to shoot one, but have read a lot about it, good for you brother!
