There is a new pipe/cigar shop that opened in downtown Rogers a few months ago. Frank Romeo(owner) is an avid pipe smoker and is looking to get a ISPCA(sp?) sanctioned group going up here. First meeting is tomorrow at 6:30 at

Thre has been some interest from fellow pipe smokers in the Rogers area, so we are hoping for a good turn out. I have been helping Frank in getting stock into the shop as well as club ideas. If you have any questions feel free to drop me or Frank a line. Hope to see some of you guys there.

Well, I apologize for not snapping any pictures. It seems my wife swiped the camera. We did have a great first meeting though. A lady from the Rogers paper was there to take some pictures and jot down some information. We had five people show. One of which was a part time pipe carver from up in Bella Vista. He had moved down from Colorado(yes Jim, he does fly fish and we are planning a trip currently). We all got to know each other and shared ideas and thoughts about the direction of the club. We opted to wait on electing officers till next time. We do have a good local following and expect more members next time.

Hopefully the new article will be up at some point today.

Next meeting will be the third Thrusday evening in february.

Alright fellas. Next club meeting is February 12th at 6:30 pm. We will be electing officers and deciding on a name.

I took a trip to Yellowstone with my girlfriend this past summer. We went to camp but I took my fly rod. Long and short of it is they had some weather before we got there all the snow was melting like mad when we showed up and rivers were swollen and muddy. I found a couple clear streams and lake but didn't have any luck.

Sorry way off topic, I'll try to post some pics though, it was beautiful.

Bump for the meeting this Thursday February 12th. We will start at 6:30. Going to pick the official name and discuss a possible metting on Feb. 21st in honor of the International Pipe Smoking Day.

Actually the 21st is Interntaional Pipe Smoking Day and we will be having an event. We would love for you to swing by.

That's another great article on the shop. Hope it brings in some more customers. How is the business doing? I would love to check the place out the next time we head that direction.

I won't get to smoke with you guys tonight, but I was able to swing in for 45 minutes or so today and meet and talk to Frank. Nice guy, nice shop, picked up an ounce of a couple different baccies.

you guys have a nice thing there, and don't tell Frank, but he's going to get some "samples" from me :D
