Who smokes these things?!

Look at this pipe in this short video. I've seen this pipe maker make a ton of these sized pipes! I like the looks of them but why so big?!? Who buys these?!

Not me, altho look at how small the actual tobacco area is. I've smoked and enjoyed by MacArthur corncob pipe- altho I fill it about halfway.

I bet it doesn't get very hot, but I don't know if I want to mix weight lifting with pipe smoking.

My TMJ is flaring up just from watching that.

Just like the $5,000 burger and bacon flavored toothpaste, there is a market for everything.

That burger doesn't even look that good....I see no cheese or bacon :td :td

Also it says you get a 2-1 deal so it's a $2,500 burger. It comes with 1990 Chateau Petrus which is probably the reason for the huge price tag.

I bought that burger once. I mean, it was BOGO, so I gave my wife the other one. She put hot sauce on it. She puts hot sauce on everything. Trust me, that chit burns like hell fire! :r

Back on subject, Those pipes look like they might be smoked by Schwarzenegger!

My very thought too, looks like a coffee mug with a straw out the bottom.

That could be a lethal weapon, smack someone upside the head with that could kill them.

ECON 101 and Intro to Demographics:

1. Lets say the market works.
2. At any pipeshow there are XX,000 normal pipes and xx monstro-pipes.
3. In the world there are about 1,000 normal people per x monstro-people.
4. The market therefore provides about the right number of insanely big pipes for insanely big people.
5. If there are not enough montro-pipes, most of us don't notice and don't care.
6. If there are too many monstro-pipes the price falls and some normal person buys one for a novelty or a doorstop.

Second cousin to the novelty monstro-pipes are the Savinelli EX bastages. At 5' 11", 215-lbs and sporting an XL glove size the EX pipes are still a little too big to "fit" me or to look anything like correctly proportional in my hands. I gave it to my almost son in law (6' 7") and it fit him.

I'm sure Mark Eaton will need the right pipe one day - him or his bigger brother - and maybe he'd like that big montana. If he ever pops in here we'll know where to direct him, right?

Re: Who smokes these things?!

that is a "moretti" pipe.
they make some cool pipes... to me, that ain't one of 'em. maybe if they sized it down 10x. ;)

oddly enough, if you recall many a yr ago on cl*bst*gie, we would post links to guys smoking pipes only to find out they were "fetish" videos (before dubinthedam got started with informational videos)... just some hairy dudes playin with themselves and videotaping it, and the comment section was a test of ones gag reflex (pun intended).

for some odd reason, those "guys" prefer big pipes... <-- go with that any direction you want, it ain't my bag, baby, but if it's yours, good for you.
