I was lisnening to Jim Rome this morning and he heard rumor that this is going to happen in the near future.

In general, I agree that remakes pretty much suck. But there have been notable exceptions. Both the Batman and James Bond francises have benefitted in the recent past . . . at least in my opinion.

That being said, as for Top Gun 2 . . . pass.

I listened to a lot of the Jim Rome talk about Top Gun 2 today as well. Funny as hell with all of the music playing in the background.
