Other than the windows cut in the slide, I love the serrations on the Salient Tier 1 Utility, but dang, that price. I doubt a GoFundMe campain would be very successful...

Dude. Right there with you.

Lately have "swapped up" in Glocks to the TALO version of models 17 and 19, fourth generation. Those AmeriGlo sights (tritium with red paint encircling the glass tube up front, rear notch is U shaped and opened up a bit) are very fast for my 55 year old eyes, without losing much precision. I shoot with friends weekly, we sort of keep score, and this was my first time ever opening a barrel of azz-whoop on all of them, in twenty plus years. Maybe they let me win because it happened to be my birthday..nah.

Those AmeriGlo sights I mentioned are kind of a poor man's Trijicon HDs, the more I think about it. Imo Trijicon has become way too proud of their tritium.

Glock started out using serial numbers with a two letter prefix, then a three or four digit number. So flash forward from 1984 to 2017, they now are up to four letter prefixes.

So, why did I mention this? Because yesterday I bought a model 17 with serial number "ACME***". Step aside Wile E. Coyote, that roadrunner bast*** is all mine now!! :r

I need to find a "BANG" flag on a stick, so I can take some humorous photos of the ACME Glock. By the way it hasn't backfired and blown off my face yet; I don't think the ACME company liked Wile E. for some reason, even though he must have been their biggest customer.

Finally shot my M&P 15-22 over Memorial Day weekend, what a fun gun. The little red dot I put on is deadly accurate, great plinker!

:tu:tu

My friend that owns the hunting lease had an end of the year bbq a couple of weekends ago. He had a .22 shootout for the members and he brought out his HK 416-22. It was a very fun gun to shoot!
