Cruzado
 

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Dion of Illusione cigars at West Coast Cigars. Many BABOTL's were there, Steve, Darrell(Mean One), Mikey, Pete, Darrell(MOBD) and Lance. We all got to sample the new Cruzado cigars.

All I can say is this is one great cigar.:tu A Nic puro, primarily consisting of Criollo tobacco. The taste is unique. Quite dissimilar to the Illusione blend. More complex and meatier. I really enjoyed this cigar. Pleasant on the nose exhale all the way to the nub. I sampled a perfecto size in about a 44-46 rg, unfortunately these were not available for sale. Picked up a couple of singles, but due to California taxes, boxes were out of the question. It looks like these will retail in the $160-180 range. A definite must try.:dance:

The Cruzado is a great cigar and they are now in Reno. Got here Fri and will start to be shipped out Mon.

Will be buying some today!

Smoked one a month ago or so and was really pleased with it.

Yep, a great cigar. I smoked a corona and then bought a lonsdale, corona and a small size (44 x 4) that looks interesting.
I think Dion has a hit with this blend.

I cannot wait to try this. But as with all of Dion's cigars, it will probably be in high demand.

Yep, I must say I smoked mine down till I burnt my fingers. Good smoke and a great time.

:tpd: they were a little wet when i smoked it but had tons of flavors...cant wait to see how they turn out in a few months

I was going to head up there to not only hang out with you guys in the bay area but also, the last Cruzado I had, brought me to tears when I put it down to die its dignified death. I am glad you guys had a good time, I did however get to meet one of your wandering BABOTLs yesterday...Justin (aka Hoax) at Pheasant Cigar yesterday. And of course, te conversation was held over a couple of Illusiones....THE CRUZADO IS AMAZING!

Looking forward to trying one of these. Going to have to reach out to my favorite Illusione B&M to see if they are expecting a shipment.

A local B&M here just started carrying these. I think he said these were on the way. I'm going to have to pick up a few of these. They look great!!
