Regarding Beads

So I've decided to pull the trigger on some beads. Questions are which ones.

Both of these sites are ones I've pulled from this forum's posts. Just wanted to hear what some of you guys who have experience with these have to say about one or the other in comparison to each other. Thanks guys.

Can not speak on either of those sorry. I have dealt with cigarmony and have had great service. I use heartfelt beads and have not had an issue.

I used cigarbeads and couldn't be happier. Fast responses to emails to work out a problem that wasnt really there.( me reading an email wrong) I will use then again when I'm done building my humidor.

So with your Cigarbeads, if I understand it correctly, Come pre set to the humidity level you select and when they arrive simply place in the humador and you're set eh? That easy?

The two most popular options here are HCM (aka shilala) beads and Heartfelt. The Puck from Cigarmony is fine for a smaller desktop, too.

If the humi has been seasoned, yes. If not, you need to season it first (or scrub for a coolidor). If you do a search there's a few threads on how to season a new humidor.

Yes and no. If you order 65% beads and your humidor us at 70% when you put them in the beads will end up set a little higher. But mine have been very stable since I put them in about 3 weeks ago.
