Finaly got our first win of the season today. We didn't get swept by the Metropolitans! Offense looked good for two days in a row. Phillips and EE have worked on their discipline this year. Neither are swinging away at the first pitch anymore.

So who starts tomorrow? Does this mess up the rotation?

The local sports radio guy I listen to every day said that Votto will contend for a triple crown at some point in his career, if not this year

They'll probably trade him before that happens. All of our people wait until they leave Cincy before they show their true selves (Hamilton, Keppinger).

Looks like we're skipping Owings in the rotation this time. Harang starts tomorrow. I believe this will give us win number two. On the bright side, at least we're beating the Nationals record.

I don't think they will trade him. One thing to remember is that Yonder Alonzo will be coming up in a year or two. I wonder if they will play Votto in LF?

Maholm is a very tough pitcher. I can't wait for Bruce to get going. He is cold right now.

Yonder should be w/ the Mudcats (Carolina) soon. That means I'll get to see him once in a while.

Votto is a great hitter, but not the best 1st baseman. Not sure if he'll fit in LF. We just got rid of the giant blunder in LF, I'll keep Hairston/Dickerson in LF for now.

I know Bruce is still young, but he looked absolutely foolish on the bases in the last inning.

I almost feel bad about that (like a traitor), b/c Griffey was my favorite player in the MLB when he was in Seattle the first time. But he just plain out sucked in Cincy.

He was terrible in Cincinnati. I mean, he was always hurt.
