Famous nicaraguan selection 6000 robusto

https://www.famous-smoke.com/famous-...cigars-natural
So, I purchased this bundle and had it delivered saturday. I purchased it solely because of my love for the 3000 series and thought this might be somewhat comparable to it and the legendary Series X cigar. I smoked one immediately and enjoyed so i made the ominous decision to try again before laying it to rest for a month or so in my humidor

Construction was solid and initial draw was a little too tight. a tad over that milkshake level i enjoy. This cigar seemed a little too wet but i persisted

flavors: coffee, chocolate, wood, burnt caramel, light pepper notes, light saltiness on the lips

more wood tones, coffee, chocolate, caramel sweet, salt, tea,

tea, caramel, forest floor, saltiness,

coffee, chocolate, salted caramel, tea

malted milk, strong coffee, chocolate

chocolate, coffee, creaminess, wood, soil, pepper. spiciness

overall, this wasn't a bad experience but they need rest. towards the end it really opened up and the flavors really came alive. I want to check on these in a month and see how they smoke then. This cigar just seemed too wet right now. I'd recommend it considering the price for an every smoke it really has some potential

Nice Review, Jason!:D:tu. I Agree. These Need About A Year Of Rest To Be In Their Prime. Good Cigar At That Time!:tu

I remember when the 2000 &:3000 were excellent (w/a couple months on them). And then for some strange reason their production was terrible, they came tasting like they absolutely went into the crapper - and no agi g could save them.

So, you saying these are decent?

I’m saying there’s potential. I can see how good this could be but it’s gonna be a matter how of much age until they are. I’ll try again in a month and let you know.

I liked those old 3000s back in the day, Jason. Not sure if I have enough patience to rest these for a year though. :r
