If you want to repair QuickBooks damaged file, you would first have to download .exe file of QuickBooks file doctor. Once you have downloaded and installed the software, you need to follow the steps mentioned below:
 Step 1: You will have to open the file doctor tool and locate the company file
 Step 2: Now, click on ‘Diagnose now.’
 Step 3: You will have to enter the login details to start the software
 Step 4: From the prompt, you will have to choose either Workstation or server.
 Step 5: Then, choose yes or no whether you want to share the company file or not
 Step 6: The tool will start searching the errors and repair it automatically.
