I love a good cigar box too. I keep markers and paint in them.

Yes, they are great for additional storage for mostly anything.

I have a nice old cigar box too.

I like to hide things in it.

I have an old, but nice black with mahagony inlay 25 ct humidor and two cigar boxes on my dresser for all the little things like watches, keys, etc. Looks a lot better than that stuff thrown on top for sure.
