Focus T-25

Anyone doing this?
After having started with Hip Hop Abs, and progressed to 55 minutes daily of Hip Hop Extreme, I have now started Focus T-25 this week, today being my second day.

It has been quite an evolution for me considering I have two herniated discs, was recommend for surgery last June, and for past 20 years, and as of last June, possess legal handicap parking. I am still in daily pain, but manageable and pushing through it, strengthening my core and legs. No doubt back pain improves as I work out more. I am hell bent on finding an alternative to surgery via core workouts.

I really love Shaun T's enthusiasm and motivation.
I am proud to say day one, Nailed It!
Day two, Nailed It as well.
9 weeks and three days to go!

I chuckle as oldest guy on video is 41. I am 55 and legally handicap. Ha!!! Hoping to change that status for good.

been thinking about it getting it as i completed insanity twice already, but I've come to realize that I dont need to loose anymore weight and just need to continue to hit weights and body resistance exercises.

Still want it so I can complete it as well

Insanity twice is awesome.
I have never done it but have seen it.
I actually considered it but will do this one first and hopefully that next.

Yeah man... Hit a highest of 268lbs a year and a half ago and decided enough was enough. As of today I'm at 155, and been working for the last two months of not being a "skinny fat".

Currently look cut and im about to start bulking up. Still like to get my cardio in there.

Nice.
Congrats! That is some change.
What irony, 155 was my goal weight.
I hover between 155 and 157, depending on Monday after a weekend of treating to a few drinks or on Friday, before I start the weekend of few drinks.
I lost 28 in total. Was never big, just looked like a toothpick with a massive pimple in the middle.:D
I knew that would help back, coupled with Cardiologist telling me I needed to lose weight.
Looking to now continue cardio, with continued core for back and to get cut a bit.

I looked into T25, but found out about another alternative that's about $100 cheaper. Check out Weider's Ruthless at Walmart. 10 DVD's, 20 workouts, each only 20 mins. I think it was $30. I've done about 5-6 of them so far, but had to stop to let my shoulder rest (injury not due to workouts). I work up one heck of a sweat in the short time frame. The only thing I think they're light on is the warmup.

That does look great too.
Price is right. Down to $26.
I will get it for down the line to stay toned and vary the workout.
Thanks.

Thanks.

The instructor can be kinda of a drill sergeant, but I don't find him that irritating.

Third day, Total Body Circuit was the toughest one so far.
Fourth day is Ab Intervals. Preview of it seems less lunatic than today's workout.
Three more workouts and first week is history, unless I drop and don't get up during one of them.
This 55 yr old is feeling alive again when I wake up and my back pain is not noticeable because my freaking calves hurt so much.:r

No six pack yet but I feel thrilled to see a very noticeable vertical line where a belly use to be.

I actually did his Ab one today and found a few parts to bother my back a bit so didn't push it with those certain parts.
I felt so guilty not having done 100% so about a half hour later, I did the full 55 minutes of Hip Hop Extreme.:D

Week two is in the books.
Actually got easier this week as became much more familiar with routines.
Added the Sunday Stretch workout to every day and felt really good to do for my back.
I swear you actually sweat as much if not more from the Stretch DVD.
Results are rapidly showing.
This stuff is for real. Just takes the effort to do it and you get rapid results.
Although weight loss not really a goal as I attained that before starting this program, I have involuntarily lost over 5 lbs since last week's start.

P.S.
Told my wife since love handles now gone, to focus on the one handle that remains.

Re: Focus T-25

After a rough few days early last week with my back, I was able to finally kick the severe pain that made me slow down a couple of workouts and now find myself on the eve of the last day of Alpha cycle.
Two workouts tomorrow (toughest two of six no less) and Alpha cycle is over.

Looking forward to Beta next week where the ripping is supposed to take place.

I am truly loving this stuff and highly recommend it.

First week of Beta in the books.
Got their E&E pre workout formula and fin myself breezing through Beta, finding it actually easier than Alpha.
Must be the five weeks of prep leading to Beta, along with E&E drink.
Either way, unless my back messes me up along the way, four more weeks looks like a breeze.

I am now down to a BMI of 21.3, with fat mass of 17.9, staying under 153 lbs consistently, with a total waist loss of 3", while only having lost 6 lbs in total to do it.
My weight reduction was accomplished before attempting T-25. My goal with this was/is to remove all waist handles and gain more overall body definition. Both seem to be taking place.

In four weeks, will be sending before and after for my t-shirt that I will cherish. Not whistling Dixie yet but I can see the light.

Great news, Carlos.
Your efforts have me thinking about getting started on something

I'm going to start it tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what this and a good diet will do for me leading up to my birthday.
