Customizing a Zero Halliburton

I just picked up a Halli from ebay for a very decent price. It's got a couple scratches on it and it got me to thinking, "boy... I'd like to have this painted. Maybe blue or something."

Any ideas on who could do such a thing? I was thinking an autobody shop (because the paint would need to be very good in order to not chip, etc).

I think it's be cool to have a unique case. Any suggestions would be swell.

:D

You are on the right track. Yes, some body shops will do paint jobs on specialty items. Just call around and see what they say.

If it's not too crazy of a pattern, try powder coating it. There are some at home kits now that do very well. Or just ask autobody or custom chopper shop if they can powder coat it.

Anyone around here do this kinda stuff? I'd be willing to pay cash or trade cigars. :D

I actually wanted the whole thing to be one color and glossy (kinda like the paint of a car).

edit: just looked up 'powder coating'... seems like it would produce the desired effect. That said, I'll probably have a professional do it as I don't wanna eff it up :)

The quality on those 2 cases are simply unreal. Pictures dont do them justice.

Be prepared for sticker shock though :)

Kermit did some bling? No way! :lr

Dave's case needs to be seen in natural light to get the full effect. Spectacular. That Jose guy has a nice case -- to bad he's a University of Oregon fan.

I always thought it would be cool to cover one in leather.

It was pretty sweet looking. If I'm not mistaken it was Kermit the Frog dressed up as a Pimp with 2 chicks...1 on each side
