"The Prince" Albert

I'm still very new to pipes so Im still looking and trying all sorts of baccy, just triyng to find what I like. I've tried several blends from the Local b/m aromatics, English blends,VAs, and I imagine over time I'll find plenty of favorites. But right now this inexpensive over the counter Prince Albert seems to be holding its on, it may just be my newbie pallet, I didnt expect much from a drug store blend, and my taste may change. In time I may laugh about this review, But for now this simple blend is good, it actually taste like tobacco it has a slight nutty taste, no tounge bite!!! and an easy smoke, stays lit with no problems.

The Prince may not get all the flowery reviews that some of the more talked about blends do... but my recommendation is this, if your just starting out with the pipe..... give it a shot, very inexpensive, and can be found practicaly everywhere.

The long proud, inexpensive, nutty, easy-burn, no-bite tradition of The Prince wears well in a cob, anywhere, anytime. It took me a while to figure it out, but the cob was the thing for me.

I finally tried this the other day (in a cob).

Flavor - light, pleasant, slightly sweet burley taste
Aroma - sweet and pleasant
no tongue bite, easy smoking (stayed lit well)

it was very enjoyable, and for 2.19 +tax for 1.5oz, it's a great value also

a cob and Prince Albert, many a field have been ploughed by your forefathers with it's nutty flavor floating through the spring air...you can't beat a good old traditional.

it's kind of like smoking a bowl of mixed nuts

pretty good, not exciting, but definitely not bad

PA has stood the test of time. I can remember my father and grandfather smoking PA. I buy a pouch now and agin and digress to a time of simpler pleasures.

Damn, should be a content warning on the pic. I know what a PA is, but I didn't think they would have a nasty pic of it front and center on the wiki page.
