The Cheese & Burger Society

Found this website and thought I would share, voiced by the same guy that does Joe on Family guy, there are over 30 burger recipes that all sound spectacular... :tu

Of course, my interest was piqued at #28- "the Havana."

it appears it's a cuban, plus a burger patty thrown in.

Too bad they don't give a recipe for making the Cuban roast pork. That's always been the "make of break" point for a Cuban sandwich.

I checked out that site. It's 6:31 am and I'm seriously considering making a burger for breakfast. :D

Of course there's no recipe, the website is really just a big advertisement for Wisconsin cheese.

But I'll give you a great one for Cuban roast pork
http://icuban.com/food/lechon_asado.html
and for the sandwich
http://icuban.com/food/cuban_sandwich.html

I was being sarcastic. :)

And thanks for the links here. I've had that site book-marked for a while now. You had recommended it to me a while back, and it's the only recipe I use. Unless I forget I'm out of an ingredient. Then I wing it. :tu

Consider yourself lucky that they forgot you.

Now I really want some fresh fried fish. Walleye or crappie. Or Bluegill.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of fried seafood so po'boys don't do it for me. I'd much rather have a lobster roll...which is not on there either as they left off Maine. And New Hampshire.

And Alaska. Actually, there's only 31 sandwiches on that site. They left off quite a few.

Read the list twice. Couldn't find a burger on it.

Lot of hipster froo-froo food though.

Sorry, but when you talk burgers, there is only one ingredient worth talking about: the Beef. No amount of stuff will salvage a burger made with mediocre beef, and a burger made with top shelf beef needs only a bun (OK, maybe some grilled Vidalia oninons).
