Trick or treaters

Maybe this should go into Entertainment?

I was thinking that maybe tonight while all the kids are begging sweets (or threatening terrorism, your choice) that maybe I would do this:

1. Paint a tall bottle green.
2. Run tubing from green bottle to nose
3. Sit in garage with door up
4. Candy wrappers everywhere
5. Beer in one had and cigar in the other
6. Tell all the kids to help themselves from the candy bag in the middle of this mess.

But this year I thought I would have a change of pace and not do that...

This was our first Halloween in this house. I asked one neighbor how many kids I should expect. He was pretty vague... I bought 5 big boxes of Ferraro Rocher's at Costco. Figured I might as well buy the candy I like... I gave out two pieces per visitor. We only went through 2 boxes.

What to do with the other 3 boxes? Hmmm.....

And the award for most honest trick-or-treater of the night goes to:

Three kids came up the drive, two boys, probably 12 and 13, and who I assume was their sister, probably 15. The boys were wearing t-shirts and jeans, the girl a poodle skirt.
Them: Trick or treat!
Me: -sarcastic- Wow, y'all put a lot of thought and time in to your costumes.
Girl: -with a shrug- We're rednecks.

We had more trick-or-treaters this year than the last five years I all combined!

I want to keep the them healthy... I am returning the candy to Costco. Half the reason I bought it there. 1.5 boxes I am keep to stuff my face with... I like them frozen.

I told you before, the whole "my pants are at the dry cleaners" look plus "have some candy" just doesn't cut it anymore.

It was that or put on the Bill mask and ask girls if they wanted to by my Monica, and that would be wrong!

You're supposed to wear the mask on your head though. That might help.
