We gots a Game 7. Even though I was rooting for the Jets last night, gotta love a Game 7. I had my own game so I missed the late game, but was happy to be able to watch Ovie and Kuz send Sidney and Gino golfin'. :tu

Go watch the highlight of Forsberg's between the legs goal. :banger

Edit: Here it is. Skip to 56 seconds: https://www.nhl.com/predators/video/...416/c-60292503

His own legs AND the d-man's legs. Nice goal. :tu

Two nights in a row without hockey tonight and tomorrow. I actually mowed the lawn and finished the laundry. :r

Everyone I know wanted to see the match up between the Preds and Jets. It was everything we expected, and I think the St Boniface ER was loaded with patients with chest pain this week. Great series for sure. The fans on both sides are super passionate, and it is great to see the rivalry build.

Anyway, last night was interesting:

The Preds fans have a chant "it's all your fault!" - for game 7 I have 3 candidates:

Poor Rinne, who had two crazy goals get by in the first 10 minutes - not sure I really can lay it on him...
Ryan Ellis, who skated around gently while Stastny blew by and got up close and personal with the goalie. (One of the most tenacious forwards around the net - what are you thinking?)..

No, not him either.

For me it's that twit Subban. We've watched his antics all season long - writhing in apparent pain, crawling to the bench after a hit. Such B.S. Last night he was checked by Kyle Connor, who must be all of 165lbs. Subban went flying as if hit by a train or possibly even Dustin Byfuglien. To add insult to injury Subban scored on the ensuing power play.

But Karma is a ***** my friend.

Diving and writhing belongs on the soccer field, not on the ice. He doesn't deserve to be in the NHL, and certainly doesn't deserve to be in the conference finals. Good riddance, I don't have to watch your bullsh*t till next Fall.

I am still heartbroken. Now I'm gonna root for anyone but Canada.

Ironically most of the top Jets players are Americans!

Oh - and Subban is Canadian. How embarrassing is that?

I like Subban. That being said, that penalty he drew was a joke, at least it should have been 4 on 4 with maybe the most outrageous embellishment I've seen so far in the playoffs. OK, top 3. :r

Jets - Vegas will be like the Stanley Cup for me. I put my dough on the Jets.

Caps - Boltz? I will be betting on Tampa but rooting for DC.

Just hope it's as good as Round 2 was.

It’s ok elderboy my jets decided to end your season!!! And you have to say the best series is yet to come. Jets vs knights will be a great test of both teams.

Well to be honest I am relieved that the preds got lost.

I think the best match up in the series is coming up in the knights jets match up. I think Tampa is going to be a short series.

All that being said its still better than no hockey.

Amazing story. Wish I had been "dumb enough" to put $100 on them before the season started.

This Vegas run has been fun. We’ve talked about driving down for a night, just to be part of the pregame festivities outside of the arena.

So fun. Good to see Ovi get in and super excited for Vegas. I’m rolling Vegas, but I wouldn’t cry if Ovi got etched on the cup.

Lightning looked terrible last night, Caps definitely wanted it. Should be an interesting Cup series though!
