Signing off to watch the debate. At 8:59 the site is at 497 members. I think that is really impressive. 500 tonight is a given I would think!! Congrats to the Super 11

I respectfully disagree... Alot of folks still don't know. I really had to go out of my way to find you guys. There has to be a way to reach those you don't have phone #s and IM addresses for? I think once people know where to find this place, it will keep growing.. :2

It's not just the member numbers. Look at the post counts, the numbers are flying up.

I think you will be proven wrong. By the end of the weekend the number of members will have doubled to 1200+ minimal.

Almost 800 now.
This got me to checking something and now I have a question.
Can the admins do something to fake the active members stat? Here the number for members vs. active is the same. No surprise there.
At the old board the number of members was about 10k and active came in at about 4-something K. Now the active number has been at 6555. something seems :hm about that.

The forum program itself will classify active verse in-active based on the amount of time between posts, etc. So on a new forum - anyone who signs up is going to be listed as active.

Correct. If you look at the member list at CS, and look at posts, reverse the order from lowest to highest, you'll see there are pages and pages of members that have 0 to 1 post.

I figured that. That was no surprise. What seemed strange to me is that at the old site the total members is still about the same but the active members has shot up by about 2000. It could be that a whole bunch of inactive members have logged in to see what's going on.

Or someone changed the setting on how long between posts makes you inactive
