Lighters have kicked the bucket
So both of my lighters have finally died on me. They are like $5 dollar ones and I can’t find any inlet to refill them. Can anyone recommend a good lighter for under $30 bucks or so?

Get 10 for 18 bucks. Even if a couple are duds, you should get a couple years out of 10 of them. |

I use Bic’s as well, especially since they allow then on planes so when I travel, Bic for the win. Cheap, last a long time, work every time but wind is my enemy. Getting better at lighting in winds though. |

Re: Lighters have kicked the bucket
I just steal mine from my friends at herfs, I find it gives me a really nice selection and I know they are going to work, well 60% of the time they work every time.
That and any of the suggestions above. |

For years I gave up and exclusively used Bic's, nothing wrong with them other than fighting off wind.

Mine did get confiscated by tsa though. I guess it depends on the agent. Made it through sfo with it and then through a connecting flight out of San Diego that’s where it got confiscated. |

That sucks

The Cigar Traveler lighter also uses dollar store lighter inserts. However the refills that come with the lighter are refillable, so you get the best of both worlds. I’m guessing that the refillable inserts would also work in the Soto. |
Re: Lighters have kicked the bucket
Can’t remember if I had taken it a part or not. I will be taking it apart for future travels. I do know that my current one did survive a battle with the washer :D
