Bedside Smoke?
What is your favorite bedside smoke? A cigar you smoke in bed before going to sleep or waking up?
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
You are a lucky man if you can do this.
Sorry I could not have a real answer.:ss |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
Personally I would never smoke in bed or in my bedroom.
As far as before bedtime cigars,if I'm comfortable any decent cigar will make me sleepy :) |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I wouldn't even consider smoking in my house. Although a lot of times I like to smoke a maduro corona at night.
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
smoking in my bedroom right when I wake up??
nope dont do that.. :pu |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
i would never smoke anything in my bed. not even in my bedroom.
in fact there is only one room in my entire place that i smoke in (the studio) and even the little bit of smell lingering out from the cigarettes kills me! |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
You are a talented man if you can smoke a cigar before waking up.
Anyway, smoking in bed is a very bad idea. Cigarettes and cigars don't know when you fall asleep with them still burning. |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I'd like to think that I could smoke a cigar in bed but then I know my wife would throw a cup of water on me and spoil my cigar and my "good time" ride. I did this with the last wife and found my cigars all cut up and the humidor all smashed,,,guess she didn't like me smoking a cigar in the bedroom.

Re: Bedside Smoke?
If I tried to smoke in the bedroom my wife would give me the boot.http://smileyicons.net/s/107.gif

I want clean air in my bedroom, and the risk of falling asleep while smoking and setting the house on fire is too high. |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I have never smoked a cigar in bed before.....maybe I would in a hotel.
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
If I remember correctly, some dude on a different board said he smoked in the shower...
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I like a LFD in the shower, but never the bedroom.
j/k |

Blech... Never.... :pu:pu

Re: Bedside Smoke?
I wouldn't smoke a cigar in bed even if my wife would let me. The only time I smoke a cigar in bed is at a Hotel as I read a book or business material. But this is very seldom because I don't want my suit or other clothing wreaking of smoke before a meeting. Cigars aren't cigarettes, brother:r:r

Re: Bedside Smoke?
Nope - not in the bedroom. Well ... not in the house. But especially not in the bedroom I've got to believe the blankets/sheets would hold on to the stale smoke forever.
Not to mention the danger of dozing off. |

There is absolutely no smoking in my house as well. |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
Never tried it. Smoked in the bathtub once before though.:ss
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I can see myself smoking in the bathtub, unfortunately I don't have one.

ANYHOW The topic at hand...I must be very lucky (and is some cases stupid for no, a cigar cannot tell when you are asleep) for I do smoke in bed, both at night and in the morning....typically I have no standard go to, unless I want it to be a completely thoughtless...if that is the case, I do have a desktop (25ct) on my nightstand filled with Los Statos DeLuxe Delirios... |

Re: Bedside Smoke?
I've had dreams of smoking cigars. Does that count for "smoking before waking up?"
I don't smoke in the house at all. My daughter will not allow it as she hates the smell of cigars, and I have been fortunate enough not to piss my wife off enough to where I have to sleep in the garage yet, so I'm no help at all. |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
not good for me to smoke in my room before going to sleep.

I still blitz the room with Ozium after a smoke, to help with lingering odors, and the bathroom fan runs 24X7. At home I only smoke in the living room, basement, or smoking room. I think I might have had a cigar lit for half a minute when I stepped into the closet-but I ran back out when I realized what I was doing. The bedroom just doesn't seem the ideal place for lingering odors... although I guess depending on how willing and frisky the girlfriend was feeling, I might give a shot once ;) |

I rarely smoke in this one, but both parents did and brother and friends. |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
Only one room in the house were i smoke, my home office.
So no smoking in bed, although the bedroom would make for a way nicer home office. But then again my bed would barely fit in my current home office. Quote:

Re: Bedside Smoke?
my father would have said something to this effect "dont like it, move out get your own place pay your own bills make your own rules. Till then, shut up and get over it" LOL
Or he would have smacked me in the back of the head!! LOL |
Re: Bedside Smoke?
I've had that speach, often some years.
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
A cigar with a firm ash is welcome attribute when smoking in bed.
|
Re: Bedside Smoke?
It's amazing enough that some smoke in their house, but I can't believe people even consider smoking at bedside. If you want your bedroom to smell like a bar, why not take a dump on the bed, throwup, and whizz on the floor as well???

Re: Bedside Smoke?
I like my bedroom, clothing, and bed linens to smell clean. No way would I do that. I wonder how a pillow smells after that? It might be difficult to get that odor out of it. Down comforters? No thanks on cleaning them frequently either..
Stale ashtray cigar smell for my wife? That isn't an option. |

This is more accurate. My dad smokes cigarettes in his house and the smell of stale smoke is overwhelming every time I go visit. My daughter is only helping me to enforce my own rules. |

Re: Bedside Smoke?
My wife hates the aroma, so currently I do not smoke in the house. It's either out on the patio or when the weather gets cold or wet, in the garage with at least one of the garage doors open to help ventilate.
If we ever get a bigger place, I'd love to have a basement or attic with a smoking room and more than adequate exhaust fans to remove the smoke. Having emphysema, I like to avoid second hand smoke, even my own. |

Re: Bedside Smoke?
The wife would kill me if I smoked in our place, yet alone in the bedroom right before we went to bed or right after I woke up. I couldn't even begin to imagine how bad the stench would be.
