Maybe Ghurka are planning two new, polar opposite vitolas: The "Hillary" and the "Monica".

One would be specially aged and really uptight but exuding massive amounts of hot air, and the other featuring a really loose roll of young toxic tobacco that might end your marriage, career or life prematurely.

Seems to me like Ol' Bill was just a name drop in a thinly disguised advertisement/joke for Gurkhas. It's hard to bring his name and cigars up at the same time.
I don't have anything against Bill or Gurkahs. I would never pay that much for a cigar but would smoke one it it was given to me. I would be polite and smoke it even if I didn't like it.
Some Gurkhas I've smoked tasted like dusty air to me, some different ones were all right.
Bill's retired, as long as he stays that way he doesn't bother me a bit. I read somewhere he likes his cigars box-pressed anyway.

Eric let me "enjoy" (and I use the word enjoy very loosely) this stick with him and a few others at Dom's a few years back. I remember comparing this to rolled-up, wet newspaper with a hint of dirt flavored pepper.

One thing I did like about President Clinton was his love of cigars, his choice on women not so much. But I think Gurkha is name dropping here as I am almost positive the President smoked Cubans. Gurkha needs help avoiding CI close out prices so hopefully borrowing the Presidents fame helps him out.

There's a story Kinky Friedman tells about this. That Texas Jewboy loves his cigars, and dotes on CCs. At one function, he reportedly handed a CC to Clinton. Bubba looked at it and it and remarked "Kinky, this is a Cuban cigar! I'm the President! I can't smoke this!" Can I laugh at how idiotic it is to pay a $1,000 for cigar and actually think it's better than other cigars or am I suppose to take that serious? As for Clinton, he put his cigar up a woman's vagina, how freaking disrespectful to the cigar? The whole situation wreaks of stupidity unless you're like J-Z who probably lights his cigars with $100 dollar bills.
