Did you call the shop? Might still be there... I'd at least give it a shot.

Re: Bad move

Ouch, sorry to hear it. Hopefully the employees working there remember and set them aside for you.

Re: Bad move

Definitely give the shop a call, hopefully someone honest found your stuff and turned it in.

Yeah, we called last night about 20 minutes after I realized it. Already gone. It wasnt a cigar shop, its was a sports bar. There were tons of people there last night.

Oh well, live and learn.

Re: Bad move

Set my Palio down in a cigar bar in St Louis in 2006. 2 minutes, and it walked away.

Marc Aub of Palio happened to be at the post-herf event later that night, and heard me telling the story. Pulled a brand new Palio out of his pocket and gifted it to me. That's the kind of guy he is. To this day, it is my most prized cutter because of how Marc gifted it to me.

Re: Bad move

Left a 5 count with a Palio and 3 cigars in a golf cart once, called the course on the way home, already gone :gary

How cool is that? The generosity of BOTLs just never ceases to astound. I recently lost (or misplaced, I hope) an orange Blazer CG-001 torch; the one and only lighter or cutter I've ever lost. It sucks, because I'm sure it was my own forgetfulness at fault.

I've lost tons of $3 Ronsons, but never any cigar items that valuable (*knocks on wood*).
Sad to hear about your loss, but the good news is you have a good excuse to upgrade.

To each their own. I own a Palio. It sits in my desk and collects dust.

BUT, GREAT news!

I went back to the same place tonight. It turns out one of the new bus-boys picked up my stuff and saved it for me.

Close freaking call. Now I'm back in business!

Good to hear Bryan! My wife would love to hear about me losing my cutter and lighter, I had to listen to enough crap from her when I bought them the first time. :r

:wo now keep the damn thing in your pocket until you need it, do your business then put it right back in.

I almost lost my kickass Ed Hardy lighter, but luckily Marlon stayed after I left and picked it up for me, so now its in my pocket, take it out use it and right back in again.
