I wore 32 when I played basketball. I was really excited because growing up, I idolized Shaquille O'Neal

I was 54 for Randy White growing up till I got to HS, they had no 54, so I switched to 52.

In baseball, I was always #8 - I was a catcher and a Gary Carter fan. It's embarrassing to admit now.

I wanted #53 for HS football, but someone with talent took that. I took #47 and spent a lot of time cheering my teammates.

I never got to have a number. I was a runner and wrestler and we didn't have numbers. Definitely would have went for 00 though.

Re: What's Your Jersey Number?

When I played baseball (little league/high school) I was usually #1 or #2 since the jersey's increased in size the higher the number and I was one of the smaller players. Whatever jersey I was wearing I made sure to get it as dirty as possible diving and sliding every chance I could get.

Re: What's Your Jersey Number?

Played basketball, and wore #45. Mainly because in Jr. High, the smaller numbers were smaller in size. I shot up between 7th and 8th grade. Even in the off-season (we all trained for football, no matter what sport we played), my workout gear was 45. The only difference was when I played football in 7th grade. Then it was 89.

OK...I'll just go with HS and beyond...

Fr and Soph years hoops: 44 (only jersey left, and being the youngest on the varsity team, I didn't get a choice).

Jr. and Sr hoops: 52

Football Jr and Sr yr: 25

Baseball: 21 (had worn 3 in the past for Harmon Killebrew)

Football in college: 80

I was always 5 or 25. I'd scoop up 5 first and settle for 25.

12. In all sports I played I had to have 12. Have no idea why other than perhaps the fact that when I played baseball my first year in little league I wore 12 and since then that's what it had to be!
