As I sit here I see that my beloved Michigan Wolverines kick off the season in 18 days 12 hours and some change. This got me thinking, who do the rest of the inmates root for? Post it here and let the my team is better than your's.....Begin!

Well as my screen name suggests, I do like the Gophers, but mostly for hockey. For football, I am a fan of 3 programs, and have been since the 70's. Penn State, Alabama, and Notre Dame.

My Tar Heels had a decent season ON the field last year, despite all the shockingly unexpected "distractions", and may struggle to do as well this upcoming one. Yet hopefully the firing of Butch Davis will put a stop to nonsense not seen in Chapel Hill for half-a-century, and we can begin to put it behind.

I personally would prefer to see them go 2-10 than have the NCAA poking around again, and am glad the administration took appropriate steps at full disclosure instead of searching for rugs to sweep crap under.

I have a feeling it's going to be a good year. Although I said that last year as well. I think the wife had me on suicide watch after Michigan and especially after Tulsa.
Went out to LA for the SC game so that was pretty cool.

I, and apparently all the women in the Big Brother house, prefer the LSU Tigers. It's easy really. Were it not for the
opressive heat, South Louisiana is quite possibly the most wonderful community on the planet. There are many more
beautiful places and cooler climes and better scenery, but man, what food, people and things to do. And LSU really
is the great, enduring symbol for all of it, I guess. GO Tigers!

OSU vs michigan hopefully is finally going to be good again this year. Being a die hard buckeye I love nothing more then beating the team up north. But after the last few years I'd really like it to be a game again. One deserving of the buzz it once had.

I hope it is, I love defense and Michigan lost theirs the last few years. They were a fun offense to watch but, oh how it hurt to watch them on defense. Don't even get me started on the place kickers.
