Good thing it didn't happen. I slept late and would have really been irritated if I'd missed the opening ceremonies. Plus I hadn't even figured out what my End Of The World cigar was going to be. Dodged that bullet. :noon

Social psychologists have been studying phenomena such as this for a while now. They blend in and go along with the flow and take special interest to what happens after the fail. I'm interested in what will have been learned this time. The whole time I was wishing I was in a place in my academic career where I could do a study on the "rapture."
