Home lounge in the works!

I dicided to seperate this from my humi help thread, previous pics can be seen here.

http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3923

And this is what we Look like tonight!
Bathroom area
http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...rlounge024.jpg

Main lounge area and humi closet

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...rlounge023.jpg

Tomorrow I will re-rock the humi area, add some power, mud and try my luck at either painting or tile. Will be planeing down the double french doors to fit the closet opening also. Along with a trip to the flooring store and lowes (lowes at least 10 times in one day cause I am male!) O' I failed to mention my Wife is helping me do the work on this project, She took out all the carpet/padding, linoium, scraped the floors from adhisive and took off all the baseboard, What A Woman!!!!! (By the way, so you dont think I am a slacker, I just started 5-10'S and a 8 on swingshift) The 8 year old kid took off the tack strip around the room and did some scrapeing also. ;) The lounge is a family project, gotta love that!

Some of the first coat of paint, the color is cliveden gray morning, what ever the hell that is! You really cant tell the color from the pic, but it has a greenish/grayish hue to it.

Here are some update pics (well I doubt the date is right :ss)

Marble in the bathroom, there are some reddish veins in it to tie in the flooring

The closet/Humi

Re: Home lounge in the works!

some of the flooring

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...ounge003-1.jpg

And pretty much of the flooring complete. I still have to tie in the transitions when the tile sets up. I will also be adding the base board in a couple days and crown molding at some point in time. Also have to hang the double french doors for the humi in a couple days.

Here is the new light fixture in the bathroom

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q.../lounge005.jpg

Here is the humi area lighting, I hope to have doors on it tomorrow. I am also considering a fake leather wall paneling on the main wall of the humi. Now if I can find some mahogany or spanish cedar for shelving.

Humi lights on! I will still need to weatherproof the unit, get some hardware, shelving and a humidification device.

When I saw the terlit in the shower I got to thinking about the Seinfeld show where Kramer had his garbage disposal in the shower, too. Talk about having everything you need in one convenient place.
