Just saw an ad for these in the new CA. Was wondering if anyone has tried them? They come in boxes of 60 and are intriguing me. I love pure maduro cigars. Thanks.

I haven't had one in a couple years but I used to smoke these all the time. Very good stick at a very affordable price point. At one point I used to love RP Edge Maduros and than I felt like Rocky messed with the blend(shocker) and they just weren't doing it for me anymore. That's when I discovered these gems and smoked these in place of the Edge Maduros. I wish I had the storage space otherwise I would have won a bin:D(box) of these a long time ago off C-Bid as they go rather cheaply considering the amount of sticks that come in a box. Thanks for the reminder as I may need to revisit these again.:tu

JR had a sale last year that had the Orginals and Maduros at $129/box. I got one of each. I like the maduros a little better than the Originals.

The maduros from JR are a blend of Nicaraguan and Panamanian tobaccos, Mexican Binder and Nic wrapper.

Oops, I should learn to read better. Damn cold must have my head clouded as it's right there in the title. I thought we were talking about the Originals. Never realized they came out with Maddies. Interesting. Yet another smoke to put on the "Must Acquire" list.:r

The Omar Ortez original madurros are yummy, I picked up a box then met a rep from atladis shortly after and he gifted me a Omar Ortez Puro and it was the most delicious pure smooth madurro stick I have smoked I liked it more than the A.Turrent Triple play he gifted me and I really enjoyed the triple play. I couldn't help but to smoke it to the nub and keep smelling my fingers after it was gone.
