What is the plural for stadium?
If referring to a classical stadium, i.e. a semi-circular running track then the plural is stadia.
If referring to a modern-day multi-event stadium, then the plural is stadiums.
Generally though both forms of the plural are acceptable.
:tg

"arenas great these"?
Busted. I meant . . . . :fu2 . . . you KNOW what I meant.

They should run real beer through the system. Is that snobbish?:r

O.K. wise guy. I've edited/fixed the first post and included the reason why.

Take a look at the link I posted above for the manufacturer , according to them, you can run any beer through it.

Very cool...how the hell does it fill from the bottom, with no spillage??? Did David Copperfield invent this? :r :r

Magnets. The bottom of the cup is made from two magnets. A ring that is attached to the plastic of the cup and the magnetic surface faces the vessel, and a "floor" that floats up when filling pressure is applied, then snaps back down to seal. The "floor" can be kept for use as a refrigerator magnet.

More info at the first link in my post

I think this video was taken at Quest field in Seattle, home of the "Do you have a Quarterback for us?" Seahawks.

It's interesting, except screw plastic cups and bud light.

I didn't realize beer lines were a big enough problem to put all this effort into.
Who knew? :)

Re: Beer Delivery System

I think it is especially sad, though, that people invent stuff that is actually more of a waste of money,
and magnetism for that matter, to do something people have done without effort for centuries. Unless
the system exclusively produces that groovy tiny head on the beer. But what resources won't we throw
at a problem that hardly exists.

Bill86 01-20-2011 08:27 AM

Re: Beer Delivery System

It does solve waste problems. Although you're wasting maybe 2-5 cents per beer so it really isn't much of an issue. The device works but realistically you would want more head on the "beer".

Im glad they dont have one of those around here. I already go over my beer budget that would make it to easy.:D

I would think for large vendors, reducing waste and improving efficiency of the serving lines, would both translate into big $.
