Cheap Dupont Case?
 

I'm picking up a Dupont next month for a pretty good deal, but I want a case to protect it from unnecessary scratches and dings. Problem is, it's Dupont...which means $$$$$ for an official case. I did some Google searching but all I can find are the official cases. Anything out there that you know of which would fit the lighter. Check out this pic:

I assume you are talking about the picture....comes in fine on my computer. Can other people see it?

I should have been more specific. It is not an Xtend, but a Ligne 2.

Buy the soft xikar case that I referenced in the link in that other post. Your lighter will fit in there. Actually I have an extra if u want it

What's your price point? And are you buying your Dupont from a legitimate retailer?

Not to knock your B&M, but are they a retailer for ST Dupont?

And price point was in reference to the cost for the case.

A buddy of mine brought a fake one back for me from China and as Keith (BigAsh) and the guys at Holts (which is an authorized retailer) can attest to, it looks very real. And it even has the ping sound.

You can find a Fake one on Ebay pretty cheap. I bought one that was a nice quality a few years back and it still is holding up well. Quality can vary depending on source.

A little off topic but its interesting: Dupont has the cases made in the same factory as JetLine cases are made!

If you want something more classy, they make a leather case in the same size as the one i sent you.. its also affordable

I am not a fan of putting this lighter in a case. It takes up too much room in my pocket and takes from its utility. I know they are expensive and have my Dupont 15+ years; nicks and all. Even if it gets nicked up, it still looks good. To me, it's just a lighter and I use it way too much for a case.

Do you have the cigar tip?
