Here are a couple of pics from my office window.

We will be leaving soon.

News just said 16.5" on the ground so far in Billerica. I'd post pictures of Arlington but it's so bright and white that it's hard to really differentiate anything.

I am apparently right on the rain line, I have about 6 inches of heavy slush. A buddy of mine lives about 5 miles north of me and has over a foot.

The best thing to do with a huge storm like that is, IME..... Enjoy it.
Drive slow if you have to drive, hunker down, and wonder at the power of nature.

Heading out to run the snow blower. Just heard that I have to go in to treat 2-3 patients. Can't get a hold of one of them since yesterday. Wish me luck!!

We've got about 11 inches in Maynard

Re: Blizzard of '11

Heading out to shovel in a few. We have street-side parking, so the plows have pretty much buried us. This is going to be a chore.

Good luck to all of those affected by this storm. While no stranger to big snows here, I know it's not fun. Stay safe and warm!!!

Entrance to the driveway is blocked by waist deep snow -- going out for the first round of shoveling.

I'm glad I saved all that money and didn't buy the snow blower again this year

I live in State College, PA (right in the center of the state). We have gotten maybe a total of 2" all year so far. Georgia has had more snow than us.

Re: Blizzard of '11

Ridiculous! We have street-side parking, so it's essentially like a grocery store parking lot sized space (with extra room on the front and back) parallel to and connected to the street. It doesn't sound like a lot to shovel, but I'm just getting back in now. Worst part is that the plows push all the street snow right up against the side of the car, so the plow piles were halfway up the windows of our Jetta! Growing up in Wisconsin this isn't something I'm unfamiliar with, but it's always a bear to deal with!

Got maybe 15" so far and still snowing in Tyngsboro. Heard on the TV today that as of right now 49 states have snow. FL is the only one without snow in the state.

After about 80% completed in maybe 1.5 hours of clearing the driveway with the snow blower. My baby caught on fire....No I mean it really caught on fire. the fuel line broke and and it stalled i was looking at it and and it burst in to flames.
Now the bad part. It took 3+ hours to shovel the 20% rest of the driveway.
I hate the snow.

That sucks. I remember that happening to my dad's back in '85-'86. We had to shovel the snow for the whole season and it was a record snow fall year!!!

Currently sitting at a 40% chance of rain and snow on Tuesday/Wednesday. 7 News made it sound like it has the potential to get bigger.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but whatever. :)
