Honestly, I'm bummed Uribe is gone, but I think he and Tejada are a wash. Same type of player IMHO.

Darrell, after a lifetime of support for the Reds & Braves, I'll slowly become a Giants fan since Richmond landed the AA team last year.

What are your thoughts on Edgar Renteria? Seems like a horrible acquisition for the Reds this year. I'd love to feel how you thought about him last year, Darrell.

Edgar is spotty at best. He spent the last few seasons on and off the DL. He didn't really do anything amazing until the post season. Edgar has one foot out the door, I would not be amazed if this was his last season.

He started last year on fire, but yes, his post season bought him a one year contract. I hope he does well, but if he plays in 80 games I'd be surprised.

Yeah I forgot about the beginning of last season. Probably because it was pretty short lived.

Hopefully, we can get the split tonight. I hope our defense is better this year than we showed the first two games. I know we don't have much range, so we need to make the plays hit at us.

It was a great series against Colorado. It was pretty nice to see them come in and take the first two games!

Very happy to win 2 of 3 on the road and 4 straight series I believe. Cain just didn't have his stuff today. Bring on the Braves!

Nice to see the Giants break the 3 game losing streak. Big hit by Crawford and a great throw by Ross. Thought Whiteside was going to be on the shelf next to Posey with Fielder bearing down on him. Go Giants!

Rumor is they are playing the youngsters so teams can get a look and maybe become trade bait.
Lets be honest there are a lot of holes and weaknesses right now. Other view they are trying to see if these youngsters can plug some holes.
