cigar trades
Am not sure if there is a section for cigar trades. Can someone enlighten me.
Thanks, Chuck |
Re: cigar trades
The "Cigars in motion" section has areas for WTS/T and WTB/T for selling and trading

Re: cigar trades
I think you'll have to wait a while before you get access to those parts of the site Chuck, not sure though.

Re: cigar trades
Since you are a new member, some sections may not be visible until certain, unknown, criteria are met. Stick around, participate and get to know folks and you never know what doors may open.

Re: cigar trades
Thanks for the info... also, Did Kevin get in touch with you? I spoke with him yesterday and I think he made contact.
As for the trades, not into selling, just want to find someone who has the El Rico Habano Suprema lying around and needed to be moved from their place of residence, namely into mine! |
Re: cigar trades
Does anyone know what the waiting time/post count is? No problem waiting but it would be nice to know what to expect.

Re: cigar trades
Best advice, as someone previously stated -- get involved. Post, do some reviews, get involved in the NST (Newbie Sampler Trade) to gain some trader rep, and as you do, other doors in the Asylum will open.

Looking back though, I sometimes wish I didn't have access to the WTT/WTS/WTB section :D |

The progression is rapid. The slope steep. You think it's cool to pick up a sampler here and there in a WTS thread, and all of sudden you're making all kinds of ISO posts to hunt down those sticks you have to have. It's a sickness. And I'm among of the sickest ... trust me. |
Re: cigar trades
I don't recall exactly, but I had 1 trade and about 50 posts, and I was able to access the wtt/wtb/wts section. Maybe it was 100 posts. Anywho, probably somewhere around there. Nice safety feature actually.

Newbie Sampler trade thread, there's some great trades going down their all the time. |
Re: cigar trades
I think I made a mistake when I was talking about trades after reading about the Newbie Sampler Trade thread, NST. That is not what I am interested in regarding a trade. I am looking for a particular cigar, El Rico Habano Suprema, and really nothing else. If someone has them, I would be glad to hook up with them regarding their offer. Not sure if this is stepping on anyone's toes, but, have traded for cigars on other sites with little or no problems. With that said, dont shoot a good guy.
THanks, CHuck |
Re: cigar trades
I can't believe there's something you actually don't have in that monster walk-in!

Re: cigar trades
Forrest, my man....
Yes, you are quite right, but, I discovered these cigars, El Rico Habano, when I was rearranging the boxes and decided to try one. THey have been sitting patiently for over two plus years and they deserved a light. To my great surprise, they were wonderful...fantastic....outstanding (or maybe my palate was just in the right mood)! So, having only 45 of them, I wanted to buy some to start the aging process with the newbies because the one's I have were going to be smoked...pronto! Plus, it is great fun to discover something you have that actually turns out to be a good smoke and you were not so wrong when purchasing it! I am a sucker for the writeups these guys attach to these smokes! Best, Chuck |
