Re: Disaster in progress...
Geepers! BIG smoke. I don't know about "egg" but if there were two of them together it'd remind me of what I saw swinging off the tow hitch of a truck the other day! :r
Hope you survive it! :tu |
Re: Disaster in progress...
Thats about as far as I got past mine last night! Wont do that again:2
|
Re: Disaster in progress...
I am not the one smoking this! ;) My friend and fellow board member phatmix12 wanted to tame the beast!
|
Re: Disaster in progress...
had one and... then :pu then :c then :sad then sure enough :hn ... yeah thats about right on the 20bucks wasted at the B&M for something he recommended...

Re: Disaster in progress...
Your not suppose to smoke it! You nurture it and wait a month and it will give birth to a beautiful Liga Privada No.9! Don't smoke it though! Find it a mate to create some more eggs with and you will have a Liga Privada farm in no time!
Haha. What came first, the cigar or the egg? From what I hear these aren't too great, it's more of a novelty. I forget who makes the 18" cigar but add that to your "to-try" list. |
Re: Disaster in progress...
Another one!?

Guys guys. I'm still in progress with this thing and so far haven't gotten to the middle after an hour smoking. Not too bad even on a stomach full of rum.

I tried thinking of some good challenge sticks a while back. I think the best would be a La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero A. 9"x52 and an extremely potent cigar. Deadly. I've heard people say the Chiselito was too much for them to handle. I think the Puros Indios Cheiftan takes the cake though. http://www.bestcigarprices.com/cigar...r/305-7426.htm When you see the pic your like "oh thats not bad doesn't seem that thick". When you realize its 18" the size of the ring gauge start to hit you. Its 66 ring gauge. BARF! |

Re: Disaster in progress...
I still think Jonathan should do a Liga Privada EGG as a marketing gimmick, of course.
(Seriously, this would make a great event cigar.) |

You do need a full bottle. Of Soda. Sugar has a counter active effective to nicotine. I prefer A&W Root Beer /w Aged Vanilla. If I had to guess though I would say that cigar would take at least 10 hours. Though Puros Indios seem to be a milder cigar, you would think the sheer length of the cigar would make it unbearable. Though it may not typically be the best compliment to the cigar, if I had a choice of beverage it would be ginger-ale. Sugar to counter act nicotine, ginger to sooth nausea. I would love to witness this event. If you can finish this sucker without re-lighting then I will contribute a 5er. |

May need some touch ups and re-lights if it goes out. I wouldn't penalize him on that. But letting it die and coming back to it an hour or so later is a different story. |

I'm just curious as to how someone could possibly tackle that monster without puking their brains out. Specially when it tastes like garbage. May the force be with you. P.S. If you can tackle this, contact George Rico. I believe he owns a cigar you may be interested in. |
Re: Disaster in progress...
This bad boy seems to need hours to fully end so I would need some food breaks obviously not an hour but maybe like 30 mins or something. Which might need some relighting especially since Indios aren't the best in keeping a full light. The order is in and hopefully I receive this cigar by the weekend so I make a full day event of this thing. Video might be hard but pics will def be taken for you guys to see proof that I took it till the end. Maybe I should make up a show like man vs cigars. Lol

Re: Disaster in progress...
I'll keep you guys posted when I receive the baton stick and when the challenge will take place. Lol.

Re: Disaster in progress...
