Best Tat Yet!!!
Most Of You Know I'm A Tat 'hore; I Love Them All. I Bought A 5'er From Jim, "Kenyan Sand Boa" & Received Them On 8/17/10
http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/a...DSC_0001-1.jpg These Are The New Release "Pork Tenderloins" 5 1/8 X 52RG, Broadleaf Maduro With Nicaraguan Filler & Binder. They Actually Smell Like A Nice Rare Steak! On With The Review: http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSC_0028.jpg I Detected A Nice Mixture Of Flavors Initially: Touch Of Spice, Pepper, & "Tanginess", Just Like I Like My Smokes. Draw & Burn Were Excellent; Strong Ash of 1.5 Inches As You Can See. http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSC_0030.jpg Here's A Close Up Of The Nice Triple Cap. Strong Nicotine In This Bad Boy, Not As Much As An Opus X Or Chisel, But Still There. Make Sure You Eat Something Before Smoking This One. Also, Smoke This Beauty Slowly; At Least 1-1.5 Minutes Between Puffs. He Won't Go Out On You, And He Gets A Little Harsh If You Smoke Too Fast. http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSC_0031.jpg Here's The Nub: 80 Minutes Of Pure Bliss! Flavors Were Basically The Same Throughout: Touch Of Spice, Pepper, A Little Sweetness, & That Typical Tat "Tanginess" That I Love! Price Point Is Around $10/ Stick. Thanks Again, Jim, For The Awesome 5'er! This Is Definitely Boxworthy & No.1 On My Tat List So Far!:tu |

Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Burned my first one of these tonight as well. Spot on with the review in my opinion. I'm kind of bummed I only have four left.
|
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Awesome review Greg. I am hoping these are not as good as everyone has been saying simply because I know I will kick myself for not jumping on more than a 5er.
|
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Yeah, this was a good one. Much better than the La Verite and it cost a whole lot less!
This cigar really hit me, I had to lay down. |

side note. Had the new Petit Cazadore the other day at West Coast. I tried a few puffs of Mikeys. I bought 3 afterwards. For under 4 bucks its a damn good stick. |
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Great review brother!! I look forward to experiencing one of these some day!! :tu

Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Greg, why did you capitalize every word?
You felt the kick 1/3? Hmmm that's interesting, I really didn't feel it till about 20 after I smoked the cigar lol. I seriously thought I had to throw up... I have a couple more. Gonna sit on them for awhile since I am not a fan of smoking full bodied smokes often. |

Somehow Tony... u know when I "scrounge some up.... a couple will find their way down to you in florida...." don't worry i'm about to hit up all my buddies who bought 2 or 3 bundles... Those guys sold the ones they had reserved for me! i'm like "DAmm"! |
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Sadly...all the latest releases are being judged by stick. Actually...so is nearly everything else in my humi's. I'd be pretty happy if I just smoked these for the next few months, until the next Butcher Cut is released. :D

Well said, I felt better knowing I missed a full bodied tat though....still working my way up to those. Great review though!

Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Tat La Verite?

Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
I want to echo Greg's review that the Tat Tenderloin is the best Tat yet. I have had most of what Tatuaje has put out from the beginning. This Tenderloin reminds me very fondly of what J21's used to taste like, with a bit more heft to it. It was very flavorful, pulled like a dream and was complex enough to keep me wanting more.
Thanks to Bobby (superbad) for the opportunity to try this awesome stick! |
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
glad it was a good one and you have a few more
|
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
I loves me a Pork Tenderloin. I will say that the Barclay Rex 100th Anniversary may be better than the PT.

Nice review Greg. I really haven't been a Tat fan( can only find the low end around here). I'm going to have to search for these.

Glad you enjoyed it brother! Wish I had gotten more to bomb on people. I liked it a lot, just not my favorite vitola, I prefer a smaller RG most of the time. |
Re: Best Tat Yet!!!
Nice review, I'd like to try one of these someday.
The Tat I loved this year was the Verocu #5. Wow, that was a fantastic smoke. |
