Nose Hairs
 

Yeah so it's not the greatest title or thread but were family here, so I thought I'd get this out in the open.

I don't have abnormal nose hair, just the normal, can't see from a foot away, nose hair. It's all tucked up there above my ceptum ring. As I smoke, sometimes a few cigars a day, I notice that I can almost taste some nicotine or tar or something in my nose.

After I wipe a little away, the inside of my nose is black. And I'm a white guy, so that's weird, right.

Are my hairs trapping some residuals from my smokes? Is that a bad thing? Did I post this for no good reason cause I'm the only one in the world that this is happening to?

I get black boogers from mowing the lawn, are you sure it's not some other environmental factor? Otherwise, feasibly, yes it could be tar, but I would expect that more from a chain smoker. Anyway, you knew smoking was bad for you didn't you? :r

I bet its something else, you just notice it more with the cigar smoking. I have a ton of polishing compound floating around, even with a decent polisher with blower and when I am done working, I blow my nose and its red snot!

I should prolly wear a mask now that I think of it!

Ok. So point taken. I just laughed my ass off reading these comments. Ok. So I'm the only one in the world. That's cool. I can live with that.

Next time you send out a bomb you can include a little baggie of your "nose hairs"...

Hmmm... You should clip your nose hairs like once a week for a month and then roll them up and smoke them... who knows the flavors you might encounter? :hn

When I used to go to raves this would happen to me. That was along time ago though. I think I had some black snot after herfing once indoors with little ventilation too IIRC.

I have experienced brown buildup in my nose when I blow it after smoking a few cigars as well. I'm not quite sure what it is, but it has to be something from the cigar. I think it's tar from the smoke.

Don't work at an Oil Refinery

Don't smoke three sticks a day

and don't inhale and exhale thru your nose

and i'm guessing you should be alright!

Brown yes. Black, no. If I herf it up for quite a few hours I can get some tar when I blow me nose. Never seen black stuff though.

This actually happened to me alot in London...the air is filthy and sure enough black boogers come from the nose.
