Worst movie ever
Minnie & Moskowitz
Terrible acting, bad plot (if you can call it that) Poor direction And for some reason it got a 7.5 out of 10 on IMDB. |

|
Re: Worst movie ever
Napoleon Dynamite, I Heart Huckabees, anything with DiCraprio or Penn.

Re: Worst movie ever
Plan 9 From Outer Space, followed closely by every other movie that Ed Wood ever made, and Uwe Boll's movies taking up a solid 3rd.
Howard The Duck, Zardoz, SWE-I: The Phantom Menace, and any number of Blacksploitation films all get honorable mentions. |

Ed Wood movies are great! I love Bride of the Monster. Let's not forget Orgy of the Dead. I can do without Glen or Glenda though, it's a snoozer. Quote:

Re: Worst movie ever
I highly suggest "S. Darko" as one of the worst movies I've ever seen!

"Donnie Darko's writer and director, Richard Kelly, has stated that he has no involvement with S. Darko. He stated "To set the record straight, here's a few facts I'd like to share with you all—I haven't read this script. I have absolutely no involvement with this production, nor will I ever be involved."" It was a fan of the first movie who thought it would be a good idea to make a sequel. :td |

The Departed State of Grace Gangs of New York Mystic River Fast Times at Ridgemont High etc, etc,, are the "worst movies ever"? C'mon. I don't care for Sting, for instance, but I wouldn't say all of his albums are the "worst albums ever" just because I don't care for Sting. |
Re: Worst movie ever
BTW, D. I should have also put "most Godzilla movies" on that list.
And I love Godzilla movies. |
Re: Worst movie ever
Men who stare at goats is hands down the worst movie ever. Next would be fear and loathing in Las Vegas (unless maybe you're on drugs).

Re: Worst movie ever
anything with Steven Seagal, I can not stand his movies

Dead Man Walking The Basketball Diaries Milk Later episodes of Growing Pains (:r) The Game Blood Diamond These are really the worst movies ever made? Now, I will put a vote in for "Heaven's Prisoners." It's still the only movie I've ever walked out of in the middle. I'm pretty patient but this one sucked! |

Re: Worst movie ever
I instinctively avoid bad movies, its like a 6th sense. But here are a couple memorable stinkers:
Intersection (remake) The Keep Magnolia And this one I am adding for my wife, I personally loved the movie but when I finally talked her into watching it, as the end credits began to roll she actually said "Are you joking? Thats it? I kept waiting on something to happen and now its OVER?!?!??!": The Big Kahuna. Those other 3 I listed, I was actually saddened that I lost that time spent watching those and could never get it back. I mourned my lost time :( |
Re: Worst movie ever
watched it last night, Quantum Apacolypse.
Threw it in the trash 42 mins in. I am sure it got MUCH worse. |
Re: Worst movie ever
Jeff,
Gary Oldman wasn't in Gangs of New York. Were you thinking of Daniel Day-Lewis ("The Butcher") possibly? PS: The Game is really good, and it's mostly Michael Douglas, Penn's part isn't that big. PPS: How about Reservoir Dogs? |

Jeff, U understand the point about not enjoying movies where you don't like the performer...but the topic isn't "movies you don't enjoy", it is "Worst movies ever". |

Clifford with Martin Short...I was 12 and I wanted to leave the theater.
And I'd say Dicaprio has been pretty damn good (other than in Titanic). He was great in the Departed. |
Re: Worst movie ever
Windtalkers. Hands down, the worst war movie ever.

Re: Worst movie ever
The only movie I've ever walked out of was the new version of Hairspray, and that's saying something because I've seen "Battlefield: Earth" in the theater and DIDN'T walk out. :r
Hairspray was just awful. I'm not a fan of musicals in the first place, but this was just painful to watch in so many ways. Skip it and watch the original one instead, it's muuuuuuch better. |

Cry Baby The Aviator |
Re: Worst movie ever
Some memorable crap movies I've seen recently - Avatar, A-Team remake, GI Joe remake, Shutter Island. It's been quite a while since I've seen a new movie I really enjoyed. The last was probably Body of Lies...
