New Coolidor

I just got my 2nd coolidor. I'm looking for suggestions on setting it up for the best storage. I'm including a pic of my 1st Coolidor, which has spanish cedar across the bottom, and I filled the old foam trays with beads. For the new Coolidor, I found an old fridge shelf and cut it in half. Fits perfectly and should give me a bit more holding room.

Here's the 1st:

Here's the 2nd:

Fire away with your suggestions !

Nice set-up on the new Coolidor Nick. What size (Qrts) is the new one?

Beads in dishes are a recipe for disaster. Pick up a pair of ankle at the grocery store.(about $2-3) Put the beads in the stockings and tie a know to secure them. Stop at the local B&M and get some boxes for singles. :2

Wow I have been using a cooler for a few years and never thought of that. Looks good, and a great way to use the space.

Now fill it and start working on your third!

And I echo the comments about getting the anklets/nylons for your beads to prevent them from spilling.

Looks great... now fill the 1st one so you have a reason for that 2nd one...

Re: New Coolidor

Very nice! I'd use the first one for box storage and the second for singles. The shelves in the second will come in handy for that purpose.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did get mesh bags with the beads, I'll give them a shot. It didn't seem like the beads were spread out very well in the bags.

I wouldn't worry about it, the difference is going to be basically negligible for a cooler of this size.

I read this in another forums. If you have a friend or even yourself shoots 22-long the beads fit in the 100 or 50 round box nicely and dont fall out the holes. Very nicely done I may say so

And yes I am jealous but will get mine back again
