Cigar Smoking Soldier in Afghanistan; Want To Support?
 

Hey Team,
I am a U.S. Army Soldier back in the mountains of Afghanistan doing the lords work. Is there anyone out there that would like to support myself and about 4 other Soldiers who smoke on a regular basis with some cigars? Trying to find some people who would like to contribute to our wonderful habit.

Yeah, let us know if you need some candy, or whatever. Cigars aren't the only creature comforts that you guys deserve!!

What kind of cigars do you guys like, size, shapes...put that up so that I can have some ideas. If you aren't picky that's fine but if there is something you had in mind, please let us know.

Other than cigars; magazines (cigars, sports, motorcycles, guns, etc.). A couple torch lighters would be handy too; or matches. Beef jerky sticks and small potato chip bags are always good as well. Thanks!

To All,
Some have asked what kind of cigars we like; well..we mostly smoke anything! I see a couple of the guys smoking CAO, Commacho, and some drew estate's. As far as creature comforts; ANYTHING WORKS for us, we are not picky. Our unit will be here for 12 months; and YES, we just started. Once again, you all are AWESOME! MAN I LOVE AMERICA!

Daryle-
I have about 30 movies boxed up, this weekend my wife and I are going to make some toffee and I have some jerky all made up (beef) and some cigars (that are coming to me, haven't got the order,they have shipped but not here yet). We are going out this weekend to buy a sealer machine so we can do this up right and keep stuff fresh!! Do you guys have a microwave, we would like to put some micro popcorn pouches in there too, unless you have some already over their, then I will use the space for other goodies!! That way you guys have a theater in a box, with munchies and cigars to boot. (Wife came up with the whole theater in the box thing, she cracks me up!) Let me know on the microwave. Once we get the cigar order, should be mid next week I think, It will all be coming your way!!
My wife is totally fired up on this box mission, she just keeps throwing movies in the box right now!!:r

OK, OK. So today I got back from my missions and seeing my other Soldiers out in the battlefield and when I got back I had a couple boxes filled with goodies and cigars. I want to say THANK YOU to HOTREDs for sending me a box full of cigars, AWESOME! THANK YOU. Attached is a picture of myself (middle of three with bald head), my commander on left and one of my LTs on the right side of me. They were like Holy S****. My eyes were as big as they could be. You folks are awesome. Thanks so much. Tonight I am hosting a HERF with some fellow Soldiers and we are going to enjoy these cigars. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN SO MUCH! I decided to fill my small little humidor with some as well.:tu

Take some pics of the herf. It's humbling to see photos from over there. To think about the sh!t going on over there while we sit in our backyards without a care in the world... it goes without saying cigars alone are not enough to thank you guys for keeping us safe.

So last night we were all set; cigars, Gatorade, and a bunch of guys getting together for a mid afternoon smoke when the damn artillery guns go off and then we start "going to work" here on the base. Pictures will come soon, but not from last night guys. GOTTA LOVE WAR! -(P :tu

Dan, I got your box today with the jerky, toffee, and microwave popcorn. I opened that box and after everyone smelled the jerky, I had no problem giving the stuff out. That box was distributed to my Soldiers and gone within 3 minutes. That was the quickest I have seen a box of goodies go. By the way AWESOME JERKY and TOFFEE! THANK YOU.

The 2nd Box has arrived from DAN and I must say that I nor my Soldiers have ever been supported like this...THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE SOLDIERS OF THE 64th MILITARY POLICE COMPANY. The box was full of cigars, movies, and some matches. Awesome choice. I think I am going to set up a movie night for my Soldiers and eat microwave popcorn and then smoke cigars afterwards. Any candy other than chocolate will last. Twizzlers, Gummi Bears, Starbursts, and any hard candy will last. Another cool thing would be like those small bags of chips you buy at the grocery store. Those pack well too. Thanks for thinking about us!

Hotreds, no problem brother thank you for hooking me up with some smokes. We are actually going to hit it up tonight and burn one while watching the Afghan Security Guards do their night firing. Kind of like 4th of July in Afghanistan.

I received one as well from the Great Guardians. It was so humbling and so thoughtful, put me down in my chair for a bit, I am so proud and so honored to be able to send you guys a few things once in awhile. What we do everyday is absolutely nothing in comparison to what you guys do everyday. It is my honor to be able to send you guys some smokes and yum yums!!
I am framing it and it will hang in my office below my flag..ALWAYS!!

Everyone at work was very interested in it, now I will be hitting them up to help fill the boxes!!:r
