thanks. I grabbed this. I'm still undecided, but I can always return it at the store and since I paid $0 for shipping, I'm good. I only need cooling for a couple months in the summer. I have 35 pieces of cedar, so if I can make my own drawers, it could fly. I jsut can't see spending a lot on drawers, since this isn't a "big" hobby for me.

I have about 3 boxes, then maybe another 50 or so. Although there are a few others I'm after, I'm not sure I'll ever get past 5 boxes. DOes it make sense to keep this wine cooler?

Costco has the Vinotemp 34-TS 34 bottle cooler on sale for $199 -- in store only.

I don't believe that this model is thermoelectric, but seems to be a great deal.

I think the Vino would work for someone who doesn't need the cooling. Which begs the question, why are they buying a vino? Maybe they just the like concept and tight seal. If this Vino has compressor cooling, I'd stay away, becuase of the condensation issues. Plus, if you read reviews of wine coolers, they have a life expectancy of 2 years or less. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that most wine coolers are compressor units. Hopefully, the new thermo-electrics, like the Avanti above, will last longer.

Yeah, mine should be here on Friday. I had trouble logging in to Target.com on the 21st. Their password renewal wasn't working correctly. I completed the sale on the 22nd and they credited me $15 toward the $38.88. A few minutes after I completed the sale, a cucstomer survey came to me and I politely explained that I was still out almost $24 in shipping, since their system wouldn't provide me a password. They credited to me the balance.

FWIW, I'm in PA and bought this unit. It's great, but I haven't even plugged it in yet. I bought a Pompeii a week before you posted this ad and I grabbed the AVANTI, jut in case the Pompeii didn't work out.

Anyway, I'm offering it up for exactly what I paid, $169.59, but of course, you need to pick it up. I posted this in the classifieds as well. I have the box, manual, etc. If it doesn't sell by Friday, I'll just run it back to Target on Saturday for a full refund. Just thought I'd offer it up to a PA friend who might have missed the deadline.

I just pulled the trigger on it. Once I placed it in my cart it mentioned the 10% discount. For anyone with a AAA card I think you can that discount with online Target orders too. What a sweet deal.
