Dreamin' of a new Ride!
I love riding motorcycles. I'll ride most any kind of bike although I DEFINITELY prefer cruisers. Started riding when I was 19 and bought my first Harley when I was 20. I just love it!
So for the past year I've been riding Janine, my Honda cruiser. God love her she is a good bike and breaks down far less than my old Harley Jenna. Janine has served me well and we got to spend a lot of time together when I was commuting from Sedona to Phoenix a few times a week. Here's a pic of my girl ;) http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...18402_9421.jpg I ride daily to and from work and ride on my days off and love every minute of it. So, naturally, I've been looking at newer bikes as of late and I came across one that I'm THIS close to buying... well, let me rephrase that... I'm THIS close to start the negotiations with my wife necessary for me to think about buying it LOL. Anyway, take a look and tell me what ya think. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...X/IMG_3271.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...X/IMG_3277.jpg S&S 6 speed with cutsom everything pretty much. I'm droolin' over here :dr |
Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
Sweet ride, Dustin.
Does it come with a step-stool for you to climb aboard? :D |
Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
It actually has a fold out collapsable ladder that pulls down to help you make the ride from Oompa Loompa land :tu
In other words, you'd need to wear your high heels before you could ride b1tch Peter ;) ROFL! |

Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
This thread just makes me want to learn to ride even more! Come spring time in Michigan I'm getting my license no doubt about it.
Great looking bike. Go and buy it :tu Do it. Do it. :) |
Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
Thanks for the words of encouragement :tu I'm thinking Christmas is right around the corner and it would be a most excellent gift for myself hehe.
Christos, I have to say that learning to ride motorcycles was one of the best and most nerve-racking thing I've ever done. I was so nervous about how I would do and how well I would ride when I first started. I took the Motorcycle Safety course and it helped immensely. Taught me all the low speed manuevering necessary to keep myself upright when not cruising. I highly recommend it. |
Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!

Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
:r It would fit the theme but alas all vehicles are girls :tu
We've had Jenna (first Harley), Asia (Echo's motorcycle), Betty (Echo's Betty Paige car), Debbie (my work horse car...as in "Debbie does Dallas") and Janine. The next will be Jesse Jane :D |

Just saw a special on **** the other night on CNBC (I think that was the channel) that had a segment on her. Evidently she lives in OK City and goes by her real name there. Anyone have a herf planned there? LOL |
Re: Dreamin' of a new Ride!
Well from my perspective I see a bike with forward controls that makes a steep lean angle and evasive maneuvers nearly impossible or perhaps deadly. Also the recumbent riding position keeps you from using your upper body to control the bike, also very unsafe. Cruiser type bikes do not lend themselves well to safe riding(except for the loud pipes). I can see where it would make a fantastic boat anchor though.;) For me if it can't spit rock and go everywhere and anywhere at any time I have no use for it. As far as looks go, who cares it's for riding not looking at, but still I'd rather have a bike that looks like fun to ride rather than one that looks like it could use more polish. Good luck with what ever you choose and remember ATGATT.
