Nautilus Lighter by Xikar

We just got the new Nautilus Lighters from Xikar at WC and my boss Bill gave both Mikey and I one this week.

http://www.xikar.com/images/product/575bk.jpg

I must say I am a die hard Blazer fan and was skeptical, I took it home for a night and used it.

I must say that I love this lighter. It's sleek, feels nice, has a good action, and a nice size tank. I put my Blazers away in my accessory drawer and this has become my carry lighter. It fits in my pocket with cutter and Blackberry great. The Blazer was really bulky.

I would recommend anyone looking for a new new torch to check out this lighter.

Darrell, how does the finish look to you; i.e does it look like it will wear easy? I love the black but if it looks like it will chip up easy I'll go with the satin finish. What say you Bro!:tu

The finish is a nice machine steel, brushed. The black you see is actually polymer, I doubt it will chip! :D

I got to check out one of these yesterday and like it too. Not as bulky as other lighters. Its got a peep hole on the side to show fluid level too.

Its built really nice, I would probably go for the black then the gun metal finish if I were buying one. Maybe once my Colibri breaks I will pick up one of these.

Re: Nautilus Lighter by Xikar

I hope anyone who bought one loves it as much as I do. Using it right now and it's working fantastic! :D

Thanks for the tip on these D. I picked one up and LOVE it. The action is really smooth and the flame is great. I actually had to turn it way down and I usually like a flame thrower!!!

Very attractive, but with me dropping them so often, it's out my price range.

Nice looking lighter. I just go a new Xikar Executive off ebay for 9.99. I must say it's much better then my Colibri Firebird lighter I had. I hadn't used that firebird in about 5-7 years and when i pulled it out, it worked for about 4 smokes then I would refill and it would die lighting the first smoke. I even bleed and purged and still had the problem. I just replaced it with the Executive.
