Passed on this as my mother has these and they don't work worth of $h!t. IMO a cotton towel would pick up more than these things. I actually spilled a bottle of water on my carpet and attempted to pick up the spill with the Sham-wow. Yes, it did pick up some of the water but the carpet was still soaking wet. Used a cotton towel and paper towels and those did much better. IMO Sham-wow = Shameless

Dude, those things were pieces of utter shite. Who sends plastic 2.5 ox cups with STICKERS on them? It took two washes before the stickers were browned and peeling at the edges, and a third wash melted one on the heat dry cycle.
