Good Groomsmen gifts?

What should i get the guys in my wedding? What's the average spending range per person?

I want to get them something they can use etc. Keep in mind they do not all smoke cigars.

I WAS thinking about getting everyone something different... or is that dumb?

HELP

Personalized cuff links, money clips, etc are pretty much always appropriate. Maybe a subscription to a few **** sites would be cool too. I took my buddies out on a charter boat fishing. It was a blast.

For my wedding I believe I went on E-bay and purchased sterling silver cigar/flask tube. Basically looked like two tubes put together, one tube held a cigar, the other was the flask. I then took it to my local jeweler and he engraved their initials on the top of each one.

I like the idea of getting each of them something different though, would show that you really put the thought into it. As for me, I just did not have the time or even any other ideas for each of them.

I dont think an event, group activity, or a game would be good since two of the guys live far away.

An engraved pen set or hip flask. Any stuff most guys want but will never buy themselves! As far as spend limit, whatever you are comfortable with. I have seen $25gifts when buddies married young in college and had no money and $500 from a buddy who married later and did well for himself. Both gifts were from the heart and had the same value to me.

I'm sending you a PM, as a member is one of my groomsmen. ;)

Mine received a bottle of wine each (all different $100+ bottles suited to their individual taste), a nice lighter, and a cigar. Seemed to go over well, they enjoyed them all. :tu

I had a large wedding party... my best man got a desk top humi with an Opus X "A" Coffin and the rest got personalized beer pitcher/mug sets.

I let the groomsmen stand next to me at the alter and drink for free at the reception. Is that not enough?

I had received a humidor when I took part in my friends wedding. But I think a flask or something similar might be a better idea.
Although the bottle of something idea sounds good as well.

I took my groomsmen out for dinner at one of the city's top steakhouses with all the beer & wine they could handle. I hate to say it, but a money clip or cuff links and flasks usually end up in a drawer never to be looked at again... the memory of that night and the mischief that followed will be with us forever though. :2

I took mine to the bar as well as bought them each a unique gift to fit their hobbies and personalities. I also got them all a personalized beer mug. The loved the fact that they all got something the same, and something different!

I think this is the best way to go. one item that everyone gets to show that it's connected (and "even") and then something tailored to each individual. Otherwise you might get too stressed out on trying to find one thing to do that everyone likes--like you already said, not all of them like cigars.

When I got married I gave out swiss army knife brand money clips. They have a knife blade and scissors in side. Two of the guys later told me that the money clips were the most useful gift that they ever received.

I would get them each something that they will use regularly. Engraved is always a plus.

I gave my groomsman engraved crystal double old fashions from Things Remembered. My in-laws had bought me a set for a graduation present and I really liked them. They are nice quality glasses. I also gave a bottle of booze to go with the glasses. It was a big hit. I still hear about the glasses from time to time. I can try to find you the link if you are interested. I think the whole setup cost about 70 bucks per person - including the booze.

Best one I ever recieved and the only one that didn't make it to the bottom of a junk drawer was the Mont Blanc pen I got about 12 years ago.

It is in my front shirt pocket every day.

I got all my groomsmen a couple of small gifts that had to do with golf/drinking and then also a really nice Truefitt & Hill razor. My best man got a Truefitt & Hill razor/brush set. Everyone really seemed to like the razor and they all use it everyday (or just about) as far as I know.

That's what I did as well. The ones I talk to regularly still carry/use them often.

Hi, I have a website that has the most popular groomsmen gifts listed on the page. What they have listed sells really well all the time. That means that the gifts are well liked, otherwise they wouldn't be listed on the page anymore. I know that for sure. Check it out, and let us know what you come up with for ideas. I know knives, Zippo lighters, and shaving items are good because people use those items all the time. Here is the site:

Flasks always work. Their favorite baseball/football/hockey/basketball team merch like a mug or something. Knifes like other botls are saying are a good idea too.

I like to get gifts that I know they'll use later. Most of these fit the bill.
