Next Friday is Leno's last show, Then Monday June 1st Conan takes over the Tonight Show.

I like Jay Leno..but Conan is a funny dude...the GF loves that silly puppet string thing he does for the opening. :r

Not a big fan of Conan or Leno. Letterman is my preference, have watched him since the '70s.

He will be Leno's last guest. I heard Arnold will be on Leno for his last show as well as Conan O' Brian.

I really like Conan(and the barbarian) so it will be cool to see him on earlier. I despise Leno and am definitely a Letterman fan..

Leno is OK. I can't Stand Conan or Letterman. I think they are funnier off the cuff during an interview but their monologues stink. :2

Jay Leno is the equivalent to watery beer for me. Conan will do a show I will enjoy more. Letterman has been annoying me slightly for the last few years, for reasons I won't go into, but I would rather watch an awful Letterman show than a good Leno show.

Letterman used to be good, but in the last number of years he is predictable and boring. I don't like Leno or Conan, so there won't be much change here, I won't watch either show.

Sorry, don't find many of them funny at all. Leno has some pretty good interviews, but comedians..... both Leno and Conan fail for me. Can't remember the last time I watched a late nite show.

The opening sequence was pretty funny. Runnning across country through landmarks. I chuckled.

Once Johny Carson went there wasn't anyone to replace him. Lenno was crebible and Letterman tries to hard,,,Conan,,,I don't see much there but others like him.

I like Conan, but his monologue on his first day 1 was lacking.

I watched Monday's episode last night and I was pretty impressed. I loved Conan on Late Night, especailly the 2006-2007 season but this is going to be a different animal.

It is going to take him some time to hit his stride, figure out what works and what doesn't at the new time slot and learn how to deal with the different level of guests. I think the bottom line is that he is a smart-funny guy and he will do well.

The fact that Andy Richter is back on the show only makes the show stronger, but I agree there will be a learning curve with the new audience.

Conan is not so much a stand-up comedian as an "in-your-face" kind of comedian. Some of the older audience may just not get it.

He's got to adapt to his new audience and tone it down a bit. He'll lose some of the qualities that I really like in him and his old show b/c of this. But overall I'm happy that he got the top spot on the late night circuit.




Edit: No offense to any of the Letterman fans out there, but I never understood him. I have yet to laugh at anything he has ever done on his show (with the exception of the Jerry Lawler/Andy Kauffmman debacle:tu). I just don't get it.

I'm loving Conan at the earlier slot...and Andy is gonna plenty inappropriate which is good.

I really hope this new gig is reason enough to bring back Shoeverine on last time
