I love this show!

Last nights episode completely caught me off guard. I won't post any major spoilers but I am disappointed to see this particular character go. I read today that the reason for leaving the show was to take a job at the White House. Impressive that a young actor would leave behind a successful show to work for his country!

I read what happened online this morning. I am also shocked. He is a smart guy. He went to UCLA with a double major of film & sociology.

He left a job that was putting money into the economy for a job that sucks money out of the economy is another way to look at it. Not that the "House" show needed him in order to be successful. I will still watch it anyway. :D

One of the best episodes that we watched. Shocking. So why did it happen? Not ehy he left the show but what happened in the show. Did I miss something obvious?

I was not all that impressed with the show. Meat Loaf wasn't all that bad, I wonder if other old stars are going to start becoming patients on the show.

didn't watch HOUSE when I was stateside but since being over here have been able to watch all seasons (but current) on DVD........love the attitude of Dr. House:tu:tu

That's pretty much it. The main premise of the show is the House-Cutty-Wilson dynamic, his team members are very secondary to the main story which is why they can be changed up as often as they have been.

Nothing has been obvious. There was no foreshadowing issues, not even depression that could excuse it.

Pay attention to what House is looking for.

Also, realize that you never saw his face. He wasn't there for the episode. I'm wondering who he pissed off(?)

Read an article about his new job that said he was "on set" for filming. Methinks flashback episodes are in the future.

The last episode came out of left field for sure!
And the episode before that was kind of annoying watching from that person view, but it was still a good episode.

I can't wait to see how this plays out though, it should be very interesting.

surprisingly nobody mentioned that House smoked cigars in season 5 episode 18. He claims they are Cubans, but I don't recognize the bands as being Cuban.

Yes, saw that one not too long ago.

They were sent from a "friend" as a gift to Taub, and there was no imagery that I noticed that truely signified ISOM.

Wrapper is close to some I've seen, but not positive they were ISOMs. Likely to be a specialized line....

The box they came in was some black varnished thing, nothing came to mind when I saw them either. Poor house got gifted some fauxhibas!

Going back to the old team... it's like deja-vu all over again!

I have enjoyed this show since the start. but I do wonder how many more times they will try their best to jump the shark. First, his original staff leaves, but not really. Then House channels Survivor/Princeton to find replacements, while Foreman really does leave, but not really. Then Thirteen is a lesbian, but not always. Then House causes the death of his best friend's - well, only friend's - girl. Then Chase catches Cameron, or maybe not. Then the whole suicide/murder/whatever thing with the guy I cannot help but think as Kumar. Then the ghost of girlfriend past starts haunting House, while he and Cuddy finally get cuddly - or maybe not. Then House commits himself, or maybe is committed. Then . . . well, you get my point, and I've left out several I am sure.

You do crap like this long enough, often enough, and the show becomes a soap. Such is my fear.
