Reds headed to Chicago today for three games versus the Cubs. Both teams with winning records so far? Who'd a thunk it?

 Re: Red's Fans Check in

Reds close to being no-hit by Cubs' Arrieta. Down 16-0 in bottom of ninth inning.
Yup, it just happened. Boy, that was ugly, unless you're a Cubs fan of course. |

 Re: Red's Fans Check in

Don't feel bad, Brian, Arrieta is a beast.

 Re: Red's Fans Check in

How about the Cubs fan running on the field and celebrating with the team? I guess it was worth the night or 2 in the Hamilton County jail because he will be on the highlight reel forever. I was watching the game live and didn't even see the fan at first until I saw the 3 Cincinnati cops running at the guy :r

Most lopsided no-hitter loss in MLB since 1884. (Back then it was just called "B", times were simpler. :D )

It's a long season, but 100 losses are not out of the question at this point. Think another starting pitcher got hurt on Thursday, they're already digging near the bottom of the barrel for replacements.

Reds have now lost 10 games in a row. This will be my last comment in this thread, maybe I'm the jinx.

Jay Bruce traded to NY Mets. hate to lose his throwing arm and (lately) solid hitting. It makes me wonder if something the batting coach said finally sunk in, or he was trying to make himself a better trade candidate?

Don't let the ownership fool you. What happened wasn't a rebuilding move, it was a salary dump...

Last night's game was fun to watch! Scooter Gennett, first Red to ever hit four home runs in one game. Ten RBI's ties the team record.

Bailey is our Opening Day starter. First time in his career.
If everyone stays healthy this year we'll do better than last year, but no division winner for sure. Not sure how the rest of the division looks, but I imagine their GMs didn't sit on their hands all winter like in Cincy. |

Blacked out today. On opening day of all days. I dont know how they have me in Washington and Baltimore's coverage area, but they do. I'm smack dab in the middle of Braves country down here. |

First win of the year finally up against your Cubbies. Mahle looked pretty good yesterday. Looks like Chicago is going to have another good team this year once their bats wake up. |
