Cigar Asylum Cigar Forum - What cigar did you smoke today?

Did you let it rest for any amount of time before smoking it?

I tried to smoke a DPG blue the yesterday and it was awful. Nothing but pepper/overwhelming spice through the nose and a horrible burn. been resting since October.

Need to reat the DPGs at least 6 months, IMHO!:D

Enjoyed a 601 Black La Punta 5.5x52 that I really hated to see end. This was a nice stick that was gifted by Will (Hawk6815). Thanks again Will and Merry Xmas to you:tu:ss

Unlike International Falls, MN this morning and their -7 below zero rating, it's a bit cold out here in Valencia, CA this AM at 37 above, but I managed to cuddle-up with a Perdomo ESV 1991 Regente and a cup of coffee that kept the cold at bay. The Regente was wrapped in its Connecticut jacket and what a very nice smoke it was:tu:ss I'm gonna have to hunt one down next with a Maduro jacket to try out...

I had a Rocky Patel ITC 10th Anniv today. This smoke wowed me. I really liked it.

I might be partly due to the fact that the owner of the store i was at gave it to me for free, but still it was a nice cigar.

Tonight will be either an Opus x from '05 or an Anejo from '07... I can't decide but I have been craving both lately. I might end up smoking both if I have time! :ss
